  GAINESBORO -- Funeral services for Richard M. Stafford, 67, of Gainesboro, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at the chapel of Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pharris Cemetery in Jackson County. Mr. Stafford died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1945, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Harold Stafford and Anna Lee Heady Stafford. On April 26, 1983, he was married to Wanda Bennett Stafford, who survives. He was a truck driver and a member of the Double Springs Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Mark Stafford; 1 Sister and Brother-in-Law: Barbara Flatt and Joe Flatt; and 1 Nephew: Bart Barham.
