William P. Peebles
Lonaconing, Dec. 17 — William Picken Peebles, 48, a Celanese worker died yesterday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Bessie Moffatt, of Detmold, after an illness of four months.
A native of Lonaconing, Mr. Peebles was employed at the Amcelle plant until failing health forced him to retire four months ago. His parents were the late Thomas and Mary (Picken) Peebles.
Besides his sister and widow, Mrs. Jennie (Langley) Peebles, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Annie Drenning, of Cumberland. Mrs Earl Steidlng, of Midland, and Mrs. Thomas Ralston, of Nebraska, are aunts.
The body has been taken to the Eichhorn Funeral Residence, East Main Street, where services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Raymond Crowe, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, Midland. Interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
