  Mrs. Ruth Stafford Letson, age 72, of Smyrna passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Mrs. Letson was the daughter of the late, Claude and Lillie Stafford and she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Brown. She is survived by her husband, Paul Letson; daughters, Stacey (Michael) Hatcher and Danielle (Matthew) Hagewood; son, Todd Leston; grandchildren, Jayce, Collin, Lincoln and Sawyer Hatcher and Amelia Hagewood; and several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Services to celebrate Mrs. Letson will be at Eleven O'clock Saturday morning, May 13, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home with placement to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Letson was a graduate of ETSU (B.S.) and Peabody College (M.L.S.) and was a librarian for over 30 years with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. She was a longtime member of Smyrna Church of Christ, loved to play Bridge and was an avid reader.
