Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Odum Stafford, 74, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, April 22, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Peek Cemetery in the Harmony community of Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 Noon – 9 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
She passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN.
She was born November 22, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Thomas Cecil Odum and Willie Sue Phann Odum.
She was married to the late Odus C. Stafford, who passed away on February 6, 2008. She was a factory worker and a member of the Harmony Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Anna Ruth Carmack and 1 Son-in-law: Randall H. Wilson
Survivors include 1 Son: Danny Wayne Stafford of Gainesboro, TN ; 2 Daughters: Peggy Wilson and friend, Ray Heady and Phyllis and husband, Mike Andrews all of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Shannon and wife, Karen Wilson, Jessica and husband, Todd Kidder, Kelly and husband, Jason Emerton, and Tara and husband, Joey Stephens; 10 Great-Grandchildren: Daniel Wilson, Maddox Wilson, Ella Grace Wilson, Jessica Dyer, Peyton Emerton, Sarah Kidder, Rachel Kidder, Wade Stephens, Eva Belle Wilson, and Lili Anne Wilson; and 1 Great Great Grandchild: Dahran Moody.
Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
