Anna Bell Clark Stafford, 91, a lifelong resident of Giles County, from the Trigg Community, Pearisburg, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2013. She was born at Spruce Run on March 31,1922, the daughter of the late Harvie Lee and Laura Gillespie Clark. She was married to the late Roy B. Stafford. She is also preceded in death by siblings, Ivy Vaught, Lena Horton, William Clark, Alfred Clark, Vicky Buddington, Ada Harless, Callie Williams, Nannie Wimmer and Daniel Clark. She is survived and dearly loved by a sister, Marie Clawson, Elkridge, Md.; children, Sandy Crigger and husband, Barry, Pearisburg, Anna Marie Crigger, Pulaski, Douglas Stafford, Radford; grandchildren, Sherry Hazelwood, James Crigger Jr.; Lori Bennett, Lisa Moore, Michael Crigger, Barry Crigger, Crystal Harrell, Christy Lane and Kayla Grubb; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. Lynn Garrison-Mullins officiating. Burial in Clark Memorial Gardens, Trigg. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, from noon until the 2 p.m. service time. Arrangements by A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home.
