  Jessie Combs Stafford, age 95, formerly of Pulaski, died Friday, February 9, 1996 in Batesville, Mississippi. Born in Pulaski, September 3, 1900, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Combs and Mary Agnes Underwood Combs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Haynes Stafford. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annabel Owens of Saulsbury, Tennessee and Mrs. Nellie Gentry of Batesville, Mississippi; one son, John Stafford of Richmond; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Virginia. Visiting will be Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home.
