  John L Ellithorp of Palatine Bridge, was found dead in his cellar Thursday afternoon. It is supposed he was suddenly attacked with epilepsy to which he was subject and died before he was discovered. He had been well as usual during the day. He was about 60 years of age.  FULTON COUNTY REPUBLICAN JANUARY 23 1889 Mr Ellithorp had been the postmaster for the village of Palatine Bridge
