Henrietta was one of twelve children of John Chester and Lucy Tinker McNutt. She was born in Lenox, Ohio on November 5, 1838 and died in Lawrence, Michigan on October 10, 1923. She was the wife of Cyrus T Leonard, Jonathan Stafford and Charles Hathaway, all of whom preceded her. She was the mother of four children, Charles, Frederick, John Chester and Francis Stafford, all whom preceded her except John Chester. She was also survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Brocklehurst and three brothers Chester John, Fred and Curtis all of Ohio. She was laid to rest in Saybook Cemetery, Saybrook, Ohio.
