The information on the children of Timothy and Thankful was typed on a
piece of stationary with heading: Fruit and Produce Packing Company,
L.A. BAILEY, New York Representative, Box 183, Albion, NY. No date or
signature on this or other piece of identifying information.
Thankful's last name might have been CURTIS according a letter by H.
Perkins.
Information came from Family Bible of Child #9, Jeremiah BAILEY.
LDS ORDINANCES: Sealing wife to husband was done under batch
F502150. Baptism and endowment of wife (Thankful) was done under
batch F502150.
A birth date of 20 FEB 1761 was also given. This was in the Bailey
Family History by Sage. It was also listed as 20 Feb 1761 in the
letter
by H. Perkins of Utica, N.Y. In same letter it stated: As a young
man he
served in the Revolutionary War, a private in the Albany County
Militia.
Timothy's baptism, endowment and sealing to parents was done under
batch # F505202 AZ.
Sent off for National Archive records on Timothy Bailey for service in
the Revolutionary War. 6/10/93
In the DAR application of Blanche Gee PEACH, Timothy's birthdate was
listed as 20 FEB 1761.
Gertrude Sage GIBSON's application #110-979 listed children of Timothy
Bailey and Ruth Clark with spouses. She lists his birthday as 20 FEB
1761 and had him married to Thankful CURTIS.
In the DAR application of Edith Alice BAILEY, Timothy's birthdate was
listed as 20 FEB 1761.
Sage's history stated: Timothy died at Whitestown April 28, 1841, and
was buried there. His body and that of his wife were subsequently
moved
to Albion, N.Y. The same letter listed an earlier Timothy as a child
born
797 died 1798. This Timothy was between Eunice and Lydia. Then there
was the next Timothy, Jr. born 1801 died 1873.
