JOSHUA ELLIOTT DEAD.
Aged Gentleman Who Purchased the P. G.
Baker Farm north of Iowa call-
ed Home.
Joshua Elliott an aged gentleman who
came to Richwood from Wood county a few
years ago and purchased the P. G. Baker
farm three miles north of Richwood, died
April 25, 1904, after being ill for some time.
He was born April 4, 1824, in Belmont
county, Ohio, and was 80 years and 21 days
of age when he passed to his eternal reward.
he was united in marriage to Elizabeth
Wyckoff and the fruit of said marriage was
four children, one daughter and three sons,
two of which are still living. He united
with the Baptist church in Illinois and had
up to the time of his death, remained a
faithful member.
The funeral was held at the late home
Tuesday morning, Rev. E. J. Webster offici-
ating, when the remains were shipped to
Wood county for interment.
