  Eileen June (nee: Brindo) STAFFORD age 80 of Chardon died peacefully in her sleep on April 11, 2013.  Born September 16, 1932 in Olean, NY to John and Ruth (nee:Coates) Brindo, she had been a longtime area resident.  Eileen is survived by her husband Halbert to whom she was married for more than 51 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by three children: Raina (Patrick) Podmore of Chardon, Ohio; Peggy (Brad) Hunt, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; son Lee (Olivia) Stafford of Thompson, Ohio, and grandchildren Allison (Wade) Beck of Trevorton, Pennsylvania and Scott Hunt of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.  Eileen was preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Brindo and two brothers, Shirley Brindo and John Brindo, Jr. Eileen was a graduate of Chardon High School, Class of 1950. She was also a graduate of Cleveland Business College. Eileen returned to Chardon in 1960 after spending several years in Los Angeles, California. She worked in Geauga County Courts and the Commissioner's office. Eileen was an avid reader throughout her entire life and was specifically interested in researching medical advances in every field.
