- Found his Certificate of Death, filed with the State of Michigan, dated October 5, 1912. He was born 21 April 1831. He died 8 September 1812. He was listed as a "Widower" and his occupation was given as "Farmer".
As I had long suspected, Elon G. Rockwood was not the son of my Silas Rockwood. Instead, according to his Death Certificate, he was the son of David Rockwood and Hannah Stafford (?). He was living at 606 N. Walnut St. in Bay City, Michigan, at the time of his death. The cause of death was "Arterial Sclerosis".
