• Notes

  Jacques came ca 1685 to America from Caudebac France of the river Seine. He went originally to Maryland, they to New Amsterdam and to Esopus (Kingston). In 1690 he was one of the 7 settlers of Minisink at a place now called Cuddebackville. In 1715 he was a member of a foot company of Ulster Co. & on 9/1/1689 took the oath of allegiance to King William and Queen Mary of England.
