• Notes

  Came west with Daniel Boone and served during the Revolution with Gen. Clarke in his Vincennes Campaign. One of William's sons stated that his father was from Randolph Co., Virginia. More proof is needed to confirm the children names. Died: Another source has his death in 1820 in what is now Carroll Co., KY.
