• Notes

  Died: William died in a drowning accident. While assisting in letting down stop logs, one caught the end of his pike pole and threw him into the river just above the falls. He was at once swept over the falls and was not seen again until his body was found on May 12, 1898, nearly a year later. He was a member of the Macaulay Township Council and left a widow and and several children.
