He was mentioned on 20 Oct 1585 in the will of his father.  He left a willon 10 Apr 1591 in Thatcham, Berkshire, England (" he gave to the poor of
 Thatcham 10s, to his eldest son Francis, his messuages and lands in
 Thatcham and Henwick, called Auberies, and in midgham and 3 acre in North
 Field near Thatcham, including the piddles (Pightels) thereunto belonging
 to him and the male heirs of his body, with contingent reminders to his
 sons Roger, and Richard, entail male, and to the said Roger and Richard
 20s each a year.  To Joan Bushnell, dau. of Francis Bushnell a bullock and
 a cow, his overseers to have charge of the same until her age of 21; he
 forgave is son-in-law Stephen Goodard L9 which he owed him.  Resid. Leg.
 and Exec'x his wife Elizabeth, and his son William Bushnell, Overseers:
 John Blackney the elder of Thatcham, shoemaker.  Wit. John Peine, William
 Cawley, Scrivener".  The inventory of his estate was evaluated at L36 14s
 4d.
