He left a will on 31 Aug 1563 in Tilehurst, Berkshire Co. England ("heexpressed his desire to be buried in Tylehurst churchyard, and bequeathed
 to son John, a cow, a brass pot, a kettle, and one-half his tools; son
 William a bullock, a sheep, and old pan, and one-half his tools; dau Alice
 a cow, a pot, and a kettle; dau. Joan two bullocks, a heifer, a kettle,
 and a gown; servant Joan Pinke a petticoat cloth, and as much wool as will
 make her a pair of hosen.  Resid. Leg. were his ch. John, Alice, and Joan,
 Exec. his son William, Overseers; William Corder, and John Curtys, Wit.

 The Bushnell genealogy suggests that William was "probably son of Joan (
 )
 Busshenel, styled widow in Subsidy Roll."
