  John was a fisherman, farmer and tavern keeper. In the History of York it was reported that four of his sons were taken during an Indian attack Oct 1705 - ages 3 to 12. Two sons being killed, the fate of the third being unknown. Joseph being the only child you may have returned to York, ME.
