  Sailed to America circa 1638, at or near Boston (with Sir Francis Drake ?) According to the copy of the document given to his son William to carry with him on a voyager to England, "John Correy...was a sometime inhabitant in or near the City of Bristoll in England..." (Register) (Died): He may have died in England by 1638 but was certainly dead by 1669. Court records suggest he was in RI in 1643 (Rhode Island Colony Records, Book 1), but no further record of him has been found in New England. Died: LDS source has his death in 1669 in RI (perhaps).
