• Notes

  Came to America in 1635, probably on the 'Planter'. May have lived in Salem, MA, New Haven, CT and later in Huntington, Long Island, in 1640. Was one of the founders of Southold, Long Island. Holder of the 'Grate Booke'. May have been the John Corey indicted in Newport, RI in 1643 for slanderous statements.
