"Norman Stafford, aged about 63 years, died Monday night, June 8, of anemia. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the church at Auburn Center, with burial at Auburn Corners.
The deceased was a son of Cornelius Stafford, and a grandson of Christopher Stafford, a pioneer. He had always lived in Auburn, and was for 10 years a member of the Board of Education.

The funeral of Norman Stafford ws held at the church Thursday, many people attending. Rev. T. D. Henshaw officiated, and Harry Stroud sang. The deceased was born in 1858, a son of Cornelius Stafford and grandson of Christopher Stafford, a ioneer of Auburn. In 1879, he maried Eliza Clatworthy, and they have resided here more than 60 years, taking part in town affairs, and always ready to help. Mr. Stafford was a member of the Board of Education, 10 successive years. The wife and daughters, Mrs. Ernest Bagley, and Mrs. Harry Phillips, and the son, Stanley Stafford, have the sympathy of many friends.
