• Notes

  I have been tracking the Hambly line where it ties into Daniel C Stafford. It seems that the middle name of Daniel was Charles. (Vol 13 New Series) but I received a printout of the Hambly family bible and it shows that Daniel Coggeshall Stafford married Fanny Mason Hambly. I went down to the Rhode Island Historical Society to check this out and it does show that the daughter of Charles Andrew Hambly and Mary Slocum , Fanny Mason Hambly, did indeed marry Daniel Coggeshall Stafford. I will persue this but I can agree that Daniel's middle name could very well be Coggeshall due to the fact that his mothers surname was Coggeshall. Will keep you posted if I have any more news Census: 22 Jul 1850. Listed as Daniel Stafford, a farmer, living with sibblings. 1 Jun 1860. Listed as Daniel C. Stafford, a butcher, with wife Fanny M. and children Fanny A., Charles H. and John age 5 months.
