  In a GenForum posting on 14 Jan 2004, Caroline Stafford Forbes shows th at Mary Ann Stafford married Thomas Lewellen. OneWorldTree at http://tree s.ancestry.com/owt/person.aspx?pid=37807878 has Thomas Lewellen, b. 1816 in VA, d. 1860 in Howard Co., IN (Father: Sam uel Lewellen, Mother: Elizabeth Gough). According to this, on 19 Jul 182 3, he married the first of three wives, Mary Ann Stafford, b. 1806. His s econd marriage was on 30 Sep 1837.
