- Mrs. R.A. Kidd
Burritt's Rapids, December 1. - (Special) - Mrs. Ray Ashmore Kidd died in Chamber's Memoria l Hospital, Smiths Falls.
She was born in County Carlow, Ireland, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ashmore.
In 1916 she became the wife of Harold Kidd. The marriage took place at St. Anne's Church o f Ireland, after which she came to Burritt's Rapids where she has lived ever since.
She was organist at Christ Church 9Burritt's Rapids) for a period of 40 years.
The service was conducted by Rev. D. Fleming, assisted by Rev. Mr. Downing, a former rector o f the parish, Rev. A.f. Dowdell of Oxford Mills, and Rev. O.F. Oldham, Clayton.
Interment took place in the Anglican cemetery.
