Signed by mark of Young Stafford On 24 March 1855 appeared Young Stafford aged 63... - received 80 acres of bounty land. Also served as substitute in Captain Conrad Flesher's Company of New York Militia from 12 Mar 1814 to 16 Apr 1814. Born: 1860 Census has him born abt 1794 in SC. Military: Served for 5 months in a Rifle Co commanded by Capt. Robert McElwain. Discharged at Seneca, OH on 1 Aug 1813. Census: 1830.
