  MRS. A. STAFFORD DIES THIS MORNING Mrs. Alta M. Stafford, 61, widow of Arthur E. Stafford, 81 Maple Street, Cortland, died this morning in her home. She was born in Cortland, November 30, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson McKee. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and worked for the Cortland Line Company. Surviving her is her brother, Dana McKee of Cortland, and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 at the Earle W. Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Nason officiating. Interment will be in the Cortland Rural Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening. -Cortland Standard, 29 Apr 1949
