  Samuel Stafford, aged 73, of 716 Blaine avenue, died in his home at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon following three years' illness. He was born in Clinton county, Indiana, July 18, 1860, and came here eight years ago from Clinton county. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Emma Stafford, of Dexter, Mich.; two sons, Walter, of this city, and Henry, of Detroit, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. Ettna Cotter, of California. The body will lie in the Miller-Willis mortuary and the funeral will take place there at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will be in Southlawn cemetery.
