  Sidney Ira Stafford, 85, of Drummonds, Tenn., died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Tipton, Tenn. Mr. Stafford was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Whitehall to Casper and Mattie Stafford. He was retired from Kimberly Clark, a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and an avid farmer and traveler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Stafford; his parents; five brothers; and two sisters. He leaves one brother, C.P. Stafford of Jonesboro. He also leaves his dear friends and honorary family, Richard and Kay Joyner of Drummonds and their children. Services were at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home of Millington, Tenn. Interment was in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
