George Ben Allison, 50, retired Page County agent, died of a heart attack while hunting in the Massanutten Mountain Tuesday morning.
He served as County agent here for 12 years and retired in 1960 because of his health.
He was a native of Draper and was a son of Wade H. and Johanna Farris Allison. He was a member of the Luray Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Stafford Allison, a daughter, Mrs. Cordelia Allison a nurse in training at the University of Virginia Hospital, four sisters, Mrs. Charles W. Mootesheard, Radford, Mrss. Martha Allison, Montross, Miss. Louise Allison, Pulaski, Mrs. James Body, Buffalo, N.Y., and three brothers, Ralph and Hobert Allison, of Draper, and Dr. R.C. Allison, Emporia.
Funeral services will be held Friday at eleven o'clock from the Bradley funeral home, the Rev. Lewis Caster officiating. Burial will be in Luray.
