THE OBITUARY OF MARY (BETTY) ELIZABETH STAFFORD.
FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. BETTY STAFFORD, WHO PASSED AWAY AT THE HOME OF HER SON, MARVIN WILSON STAFFORD. MARCH 23RD 1947. WERE HELD MONDAY AFTERNOON AT 3 O CLOCK AT THE PALMER GROVE CHURCH, CONDUCTED BY REV C.W. LAMB.
MRS STAFFORD WAS BORN IN HUNT COUNTY, OCT 16th, 1868.
SHE WAS CONVERTED EARLY IN WOMANHOOD BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE METHODIST CHURCH.
IN 1889 SHE WAS UNITED IN MARRIGE TO F.P. STAFFORD AT GREENVILLE WHO PRECEDED HER IN DEATH.
MRS STAFFORD IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS, M.W. STAFFORD OF WILLS POINT, C.E. STAFFORD OF GREENVILLE; TWO DAUGHTERS, MRS MINNIE CREWS OF WICHITA FALLS AND MRS FRANKIE EASTEP.
SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY ONE BROTHER, REV C. A. LONG OF BIG SPRING AND ONE SISTER, MRS ELLA FRIDAY OF TEMPLE. 13 GRANDCHILDREN AND 13 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.
PALLBEARERS WERE JOHNNY BECK, GENE AND GEORGE RUSSELL, RAY HOUK, DURON EASTEP AND HERMAN SMITH.
ARRANGEMENTS WERE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF EUBANK BROS FUNERAL DIRECTORS.
INTERMENT WAS IN UNION GROVE CEMETERY.

The obituary of Mary (Betty) Elizabeth Stafford.
Funeral services for mrs. Betty stafford, who passed away at the home of her son, Marvin Wilson Stafford. March 23rd 1917. Were held Monday afternoon at 3 o clock at the palmer grove church, conducted by rev C. W. Lamb.
Mrs Stafford was born in Hunt County, Oct 16th, 1868. She was converted early in womanhood becoming a member of the Methodist church. In 1889 she was united in marriage to F. P. Stafford at Greenville who preceded her in death. Mrs Stafford is survived by two sons, M. W. Stafford of Wills Point, C. E. Stafford of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs Minnie Crews of Wichita Falls and Mrs Frankie Eastep. She is also survived by one brother, rev C. A. Long of Big Spring and one sister, Mrs Ella Friday of Temple. 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Beck, Gene and George Russell, Ray Houk, Duron Eastep and Herman Smith.
Arrangements were under the direction of Eubank Bros Funeral Directors.
Interment was in Union Grove Cemetery.
