  Andrew Stafford enlisted to serve as a private in the 44th Unit Co B of Indiana Volunteer Infantry on 22 Nov 1861. He is buried at Ryerson Cemetery. CENSUS 1880 IN, Marshall Co, Center, page 114B: Andrew & Cynthia Stafford 1900 IN, Kosciusko County, Monroe Township, page 112a: Andrew & Florence Stafford 1910, IN, Kosciusko County, Washington Township, page 257: Andrew Stafford as a widower in the household of Joe & Dora (Stafford) Speigle. In the 1900 census, Florence told the census she had given birth to one child who was still living; this may have been referring to Grover C. Stafford, but his birthdate given in that census is a year before their marriage date. Military: Civil War. 44th Unit. Census: Listed as a farmer with wife Cynthia and daughter Lora.
