Tipton Co., Indiana, Recorder's Office, Book 25, p.569 -- "Sarah Garner to James F. Lockridge"
This Indenture Witnesseth, that Sarah Garner, unmarried, of Tipton County in the state of Indiana, Convey and Warrant to James F. Lockridge, of Tipton County in the state of Indiana for the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars, the following Real Estate in Tipton County, in the state of Indiana, to-wit:
Beginning sixteen (16) rods West of the South East corner of the South East quarter of Section twenty-seven (27), Township twenty-one (21) North of Range three (3) East Running thence North fifty (50) rods thence East Sixteen (16) rods thence South fifty (50) rods thence West sixteen (16) rods, to the place of beginning, containing five (5) acres. Said James F. Lockridge to have full and complete possession on the first day of March 1890. If said Sarah Garner vacates said premises prior to said date said Lockridge to have immediate possession. In Witness Whereof, the said Sarah Garner, unmarried, has hereunto set her hand and seal, this 12th day of Nov. A.D. 1889.

This Indenture Witnesseth that Emily Lockridge of Tipton County in the State of Indiana Convey and Warrant To James F. Lockridge of Tipton County in the State of Indiana for the sum of One hundred and sixty Dollars the following Real Estate in Tipton County in the State of Indiana to wit:
Commencing at the South East corner of the East half of the East half of the South West quarter of Section Twenty Seven (27) in Township twenty one (21) North of Range three (3) East Running thence West forty (40) Rods thence North Sixteen (16) Rods thence East forty (40) Rods thence South Sixteen (16) Rods to the place of Beginning Containing four (4) acres.
In Witness Whereof the Said Emily Lockridge has hereunto set her hand and seal this 10th day of February A.D. 1892

This Indenture Witnesseth that Mary Jane Morris and B. Z. Morris her husband of Tipton County in the State of Indiana Conveys and Warrant to James F. Lockridge of Tipton County in the State of Indiana for the Sum of Three Hundred and Twenty Dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the following Real Estate in Tipton County in the State of Indiana to wit:
Commencing Forty Eight (48) Rods North of the South East Corner of the East half of the East half of the South West quarter of Section twenty Seven (27) in Township Twenty one North of Range three (3) East, Running thence West forty (40) Rods, thence North thirty two (32) Rods to the place of Beginning containing Eight (8) acres.
This Conveyance and Warrantee is not to take Effect untill [sic] after the Death of Said Emily Lockridge, Mother of the Said Mary Jane Morris.
In Witness Whereof the Said Mary Jane Morris and B. Z. Morris her Husband have hereunto set their hands and seals this tenth day of February A.D. 1892

This Indenture Witnesseth that Emily Lockridge of Tipton County in the State of Indiana Convey and Warrant to James F. Lockridge of Tipton County in the State of Indiana for the sum of Three Hundred and Twenty Dollars the following Real Estate in Tipton County in the State of Indiana to wit:
Commencing Sixteen (16) Rods North of the South East Corner of the East half of the East half of the South West quarter of Section twenty (27) Seven, in Township Twenty (21) one North of Range three (3) East, Running thence West forty (40) Rods, thence North thirty two (32) Rods thence East forty (40) Rods thence South thirty two (32) Rods to the place of Beginning containing (8) Eight acres.
This Conveyance is not to take Effect untill [sic] after the Death of Said Emily Lockridge. She is to retain possession of the above Land as Long as she lives.

This Indenture Witnesseth that Hiram A. Lockridge unmarried and over 21 years of age of Tipton County in the State of Indiana Convey and Warrant to James F. Lockridge of Tipton County in the State of Indiana for the sum of Three Hundred Dollars the following Real Estate in Tipton County in the State of Indian to wit.
Commencing one Hundred and forty four (144) rods north of the South East Corner of the East half of the East half of the South West Quarter of Section twenty Seven (27) Township twenty one (21) north Range thence (3) East. Running thence West Eighty (80) Rods north 86 Rods East Eighty (80) Rods, South Sixteen (16) Rods to the place of beginning Containing Eight (8) acres more or less.
The Grantor herein states that Emily Lockridge who Conveyed to him the above described land Feby 10th 1892 which Conveyance is Recorded in Deed Record 29 Page 452 of the Records of Tipton County Indiana Reserving a Life Estate to her was his mother and She died on or about Feby 24th 1897.
In Witness Whereof the said Hiram Lockridge has hereunto set his hand and seal this 20th day of January AD 1900.
