  Harry C. Stafford, 85, well known retired Hamilton Township farmer whose home is on Shaffer Road died Saturday afternoon at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He spent his entire life in this community. Mr. Stafford was employed at Chevrolet Muncie many years prior to his retirement and was formerly employed at Muncie Products. He was a member of Central Chapel United Methodist Church and its Senior Prayer Class. he was also a member of the board of directors of Black Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Harry W. (Anna Elizabeth) White and a son, Clyde A. Stafford, both of Muncie; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Annalee Allen, Phoenix, Ariz.; three stepsons, Raymond and Frederick Huddleston, both of Sarasota, Fla., and Edward Huddleston, Farmland; two grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; and a niece, Mrs. Hazel Steiner, Muncie. Services will be held at Center Chapel United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. John C. Flockhart and Rev. Max Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Black Cemetery. Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday or at the church a half hour before the services.
