Notes |
- More investigation is needed to confirm that James W. Stafford is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Hoke Stafford.
-- MERGED NOTE ------------
We are NOT sure where James was born as the 1850 Census says he was born in Ia (Indiana) and the 1860 Census says Kentucky. Also James does NOT show up in the 1870 Census with Ellen and the children so he must have died sometime between 1860 and 1870.
