Essex County Republican., May 29, 1959
Funeral services were held on May 5 at 2 p. m., at the home of Daniel Walker for his father,
Albert Gardiner Walker, who died Sunday, May 3, at Elmwood Nursing Home, Wadhams, where he had been a patient for three weeks previous to death. He had been a lifelong resident of the
town of Essex, living as a boy at Walker Homestead near Whallons Bay, and at his farm in
this village for many years. After the death of his wife, Celia Safford Walker, he lived at his
own home to which he had been confined since earlv winter. He was 84 April 21. He is survived by his son, Daniel S. Walker; two grandchildren, Harold and Norma, in the immediate family. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Essex.
