- Joseph was a Mormon. He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah with his son, Hamilton, who moved to Lehi, Utah. Myrtle did not go with her father and brother because she was working at the time. Joseph may have remarried. NOTE: Have also heard from other sources that one moved to Idaho and one to Iowa.

ILLNESS FATAL FOR JOSEPH STAFFORD
Joseph Stafford, aged 72 years, died Monday evening following a lingeri ng illness at his home in this city. He was born Oct. 7, 1861, in North C arolina. He came to Burley from North Carolina about three years ago. H is wife died Sept. 10, 1890. Surviving are his one son, H. P. Staffor d, of Burley, and daughter Mrs. Myrtle Ingram, of Turnersville(sic), NC, t ogether with 12 grandchildren. The deceased was a carpenter by trade.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock fr om the Johnson chapel with interment under the direction of D. E. Johns on in the Burley city cemetery.
