Henry Y Cook originally owned the land that Valley Springs Cemetery is located on. The cemetery was originally started as a Cook Family Private Cemetery, however after the Daly & Wood(s) & other various families started marrying into the Cook family the cemetery was opened up to all.
NOTE: There may be two additional children in this family, they are as follows:
Charlotte Cook, b: 1843
Alice A. Cook, b: 1848
However to date, I have not been able to locate additional information for them.
