Stafford & Viana D. Stafford, 14 Apr 1927 OBITUARY Francis Marion Stafford, aged 92, of 537 South Columbia street, died at 1 0:20 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Stafford was born in Kosciusko County, Indian, June 26, 1856, and moved here 23 years ago from Pierceton, Ind. He married Merilla Belle Shirley in Warsaw, Ind., Feb. 23, 188 1. She died Sept 3, 1916. Surviving are two sons, Charles A. Stafford, Santa Ana, Calif., and Ora E. Stafford, Mishawaka; three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Holben, Circle, Montana, Mrs. Shirley Stevens, South Bend, and Mrs. Harry Wilkinson, with whom he lived; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. jane Greer, Plymouth, Indiana. Friends may call in the Bubb funeral home, Mishawaka, until the funeral services at 1 P.m. Saturday. Rev. G.B. Rowe, past or of the Greater Midway Gospel Tabernacle will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Creek cemetery near Pierceton, Ind. Census: Listed as a farm laborer in the household of his uncle, Joseph Stafford.
