Ora Earnest Stafford, 76, of 13672 E. 7th St. died at 6:15 a.m. today in his home after an illness of one year. He was born May 11 1889 near Norcator, Ka., and moved here from Pierceton, Ind., 45 years ago. He married Ida May Circle Sept 19, 1914, in Sydney, Ind. Mr. Stafford was employed at the U.S. Rubber Co. for 28 eyars and retired in 1954. Suriving are his widow; three sons, A.D. and Leo L., both of Mishawaka, and John W. of Akron, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Paul Praklet of Mishawaka, Mrs. Robert De Witte, Mrs. George Hayden, and Mrs. Robert Davis Jr., all of South Bend; three sisters, Mrs. Harley Holben of Circle, Mont., Mrs. ErnestStevens, South Bend, and Mrs. Harry Wilkinson of Osceola; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Zion of God Temple, Osceola. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel.
