  Died: Died at home of her son, Albert. Buried: Nancy Stafford, wife of the late Greenup Stafford, died at the residence of her son Albert, in Shelby township, at 3 a.m. Sunday, February 3, 1901, of heart trouble at the age of 84 years two months and twenty days. Nancy Lympus was united in marriage to Greenup Stafford in 1835, they living happily together to celebrate their golden wedding and until two years later in 1887, when Mr. Stafford died leaving the widow and five children, Nathan, of Columbus, James, Albert, Mrs. Davis Trees and Mrs. Wm. Thompson, of this city, and she had the distinction of being a great great grandmother. The funeral service took place in the Lewis Creek Baptist church at 11 a.m. Tuesday February 5, of which she has been a member for over sixty years. Rev. Smith, of Anderson, officiating. The cortege will leave the house at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery beside her husband. Remains and cortege in charge of Marshall G. Tindall.
