Oral interview with his daughter Patricia on March 12, 2006, "He was in the Coast Guard during WW2 but got out early due to an injury. During WW2 he worked at Half Moon Bay on a secret radar. Mom remembers getting scarece items from him at his work during WW2 (Ralphs Market) when she went with her mom to ask for help. He worked at Ralphs before the war as well."
Charles Alfred Clary Jr. and his cousin Homer Weber were raised together and were very close like brothers... they even resembled each other.
