- Thomas Jefferson Stafford was Union Army petitioned serving in Co. H. Murdock's 50 Reg. Inf. Vols. Enlisted Dec. 14, 1864 and mustered out Aug.5, 1865, Cape Girardeau, Missouri and at one time the pastor of Mt. ZionBaptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. His body rests in Walkers Cemetery near Mt. Zion Church.
