- Walden was the son of John and Lydia Stafford. He married first in 1843 in NY Laura Etta Smith. He served in the Civil War. Laura died 25 Mar 1880. Walden moved to Buffalo, ND where he homestead. There he married Mrs. Adelia Stockbridge. Adelia died in 1915 and he sold his farm and moved to Portage, WI. Returning to DeSart, ND where he died.
Children: George, Charles, Wallace, Edward, Samuel Louisa, Donna, James(See memorial # 25619691), Nathan, Nelson, William, and John
Lived in New York and Wisconsin.
