"Mrs. G. R. Witwer
Mrs. Blanche E. Witwer, 76, Narvon R2, died Saturday at the Lancaster General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Blue Ball, daughter of the late Wayne and Amanda Greiner Stafford. She was the wife of the late George R. Witwer. She was a member of the Ladies Home Home Department of the Brisgeville Evangelical Congregational Church. She was a member of Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church of East Earl. She was a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are six children, Irene M., wife of Charles W. Good, Ephrata; George R. Witwer Jr., Ephrata; Dorothy, wife of Marvin Laukhuff, Blue Ball; Hazel, wife of Clyde Houck, Paradise R1, Marian, wife of Morris Hannah, New Holland R1, and Betty, wife of John L. Diem, Gordonville. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola Wolfskill of New Holland and one brother, Earl Stafford of Detroit, Mich."
