Obituary:
- Julia Flowers Stafford, age 81 of Greenfield, TN, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stafford will be conducted on Saturday, August 20th at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield, with burial at Highland Cemetery in Greenfield.
Mrs. Stafford was born on July 12, 1930, the daughter of Ervin and Bonnie Davidson Flowers in Bradford, TN. She was co-owner of City Dry Cleaners in Greenfield for over 30 years with her husband. Upon retirement, she enjoyed quilting and reading.
Mrs. Stafford is survived by her spouse of over 60 years, Kenneth Stafford; two daughters-Amy (Jackie) Vaughan of Greenfield, Norma (Mike) Menz of Collierville; one son, Phil ( Kelly) Stafford of Jackson; five grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Vaughan of Jackson, Adam (Crystal) Vaughan of Darden, Julie Vaughan of Greenfield, Haley and Madison Stafford of Jackson; two great grandsons, Landon Vaughan of Darden, and Elliott Vaughan of Jackson; two sisters, Margie Swinny of Paducah, Alease Clark of Memphis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Flowers of Fort Worth, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. on August 19, 2011 and from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to the First Baptist Church of Greenfield Memorial Fund, Relay For Life , or the charity of the donor's choice.
