Placed in Command of the defense of the Scottish border, Which defeated the invading Scots at Flodden Field, When King Henry VIII went to the Field of the Cloth in 1520, Norfolk was left to guard the Kingdom. Following year he presided at the trail for treason of his fried Edward Stafford, 3rd. Duke of Buckingham, whom he passed a sentence of death.. Retired 1523
