- OBITUARY, sent to me by Cindy Stafford Fenimore, 02-2005
Ford L. Stafford, aged 20, of 911 South Laurel street, died of exhaustion and pneumonia at 2:20 o'clock this morning in St. Jospeh Hospital. He had been ill two weeks. He was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Union, Mont., and came here 15 years ago from Warsaw, Ind. He was married May 21 to Miss Donnabelle Anderson, who survives. Surviving also are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ora E. Stafford, of Mishawaka; three brothers Lorain, Archie and John of Mishawaka; four sisters, Louise, Marie, Wanda, and Wanita Ruth, of Mishawaka; his grandfather, Marion Stafford of South Bend, and his grandmother Mrs. Charles Circle of Warsaw, Ind. The body may be viewed in the Fred H. Bubb chapel until the funeral at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. G.B. Rowe, pastor of Midway Gospel tabernacle will conduct the service in the chapel. Burial will be in Springcreek cemetery, near Warsaw.
