  Of Mt. Sterling, OH. The only thing I have is that my grandfather name is Ballard Floyd Stafford Sr. he had a brother named Frank. They were the only survivors of a house fire that killed all of their family except the two brothers, Frank broke his leg from jumping out of the upstairs window. The fire was in Paintsville and the story, I have been told, has been in a issue of the KY Explorer. I do not know what issue. My grandfather moved to Montgomery county where he married Dora Williams. He lived in the community of Camargo, he lived here until his death. His children are Neva, Meredith, Blanch, Mergie, Marie, Bob, and my father Ballard Jr. Ballard Stafford Census: Listed with wife Dora C. and children Neva, Mary E., Blanche, Robert and Margie.
