"CHARLES E. STAFFORD.
Charles E. Stafford, 73, of 117 S. Yellow Springs St., died in City Hospital at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday [12 Feb 1935] following a two-year illness.
He was born in New Carlisle, OH, the son of George and Katherine Stafford. He lived in Springfield for 43 years and was employed for 30 years by The Springfield Purity Dairy Co. Stafford was a member of the Second Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lavinia Stafford; one son, Roger, of Cleveland, OH; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie L. Dillahunt, of Minneapolis, MN, and Mrs. Beulah F. Rohrer, of Springfield, and two grandchildren, Martha and Katherine Stafford, both of Cleveland, OH.
The body was taken to the Coffman Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday [15 Feb 1935]. Burial will be made in Glen Haven Memorial Park."
