  Richwood Gazette 7 February 1963 p. 5 GEORGE B. ELLIOTT PASSED AWAY TUESDAY George Burl Elliott, 80, of Richwood, died at his home east of Essex, Tuesday, February 5 at approximately 1:00 p.m. He was formerly a carpenter and had been in failing health for some time. He was born September 13, 1882 in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Joshua and Elizabeth Stafford Elliott. He was married to Hazel Mather, who passed away January 30, 1950. He was a member of the Essex Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Bernard, of Columbus, one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Clem, of Grove City; one granddaughter, Linda Castor and two great grandsons, Tracey and Frankie, all of Japan. Funeral services will be held in the Ballinger Funeral Home Richwood, Friday February 8 at 1:30 p.m. Rev.
